Highlights: Finland vs. Red Devil is always going to be a huge card.  Another close war opens this hard-fought event held on the edge of the beautiful Neva River in St Petersburg, which provides what must be the most scenic backdrop ever for an MMA event.  The pressure has been building up for the head-to-head between Red Devil’s Kirill Sidelnikov and Finland’s Jarno Nurminen to decide which heavyweight warrior is superior.

 Highlights: What a cracker of an opening round!  With two Russian teams in the M-1 Challenge, fans are treated to some outstanding sambo takedowns, submissions and escapes.  Yuri Ivlev vs. Carlos Valeri is an all-time classic bout.  There is a lot of fighting here that isn’t textbook stuff, but comes straight out of left field, with combatants using innovative techniques as they adapt to each situation.
