September 15 is set to be a HUGE night for MMA fans as two of the most explosive combatants in ultimate fighting are set to wage war for the BAMMA-Lonsdale British Middleweight Title when defending champion Jack Marshman and challenger Andrew Punshon throwdown at Wembley Arena.

To quote from BAMMA’s Head of Talent Relations, Jude Samuel, “This fight is going to be a tough challenge for our British Middleweight champ and is set to put Jack’s grappling skills to the test.  It’s going to be a sensational match as both fighters like to work at a pace and both guys look to finish fights – quickly.  Out of 28 fights between them there is only 1 decision finish and just 2 fights that have made it to the third round.  That gives fans an idea of the kind of action that can be expected on the night.”

On March 24 of this year, Jack suffered the only loss in his remarkable 10-1-0 career when challenging Tom Watson for BAMMA’s World Middleweight Title and Marshman is keen to return to the cage and add more numerals to the left column of his MMA stats at BAMMA 10.

“It’s been a long time since the last BAMMA card, so we’re all keen to get back in there,” says Jack.  “It’s shaping up to be a great card so hopefully we’ll have a full house on the night.”
